Come to Tufts Memorial Park on Saturday, Oct. 26 for the annual Oktoberfest. The party starts at 4 p.m. with Kinderfest, a time when kids can show off their Halloween costumes and indulge in games and crafts. At 6 p.m., Oktoberfest starts with all the German food, drink, and music you can handle. Enter the stein-holding contest or the stein relay race to show off your skills.

Take in the natural beauty of the season at the magnificent Sandhills Gardens. Meticulously cared for by students of Sandhills Community College, there are plenty of paths through plants, trees, and sculptures. Spend a few hours exploring the area and drink in the autumn weather and colors.
Low Country Boil & Halloween Party
The annual Given Memorial Library/Tufts Archives fall fundraiser is back. Grab a ticket to the party held at the wondrous Fair Barn venue. King DJ Curtiss will be supplying non-stop music, while The White Rabbit caters a delicious low country boil. Wear a Halloween costume and enter the judging for a prize.
